我们都知道，英国脱欧的这件事已经一拖再拖（yītuōzàituō. v. to procrastinate, to postpone sth. over and over）很久了。自从英国群众投票通过脱欧以来已经1000多天了，直到现在还没有尘埃落定（chénāi luòdìng. v. to describe a state where everything is settled）。一会儿说会有协议，一会儿说没有协议；一会儿说下个月就可以脱欧，一会儿又要延期。你知道吗？埃菲尔铁塔的建造都没花这么长时间（不到800天）！

As we all know, the Brexit has been dragged long enough. 1000 days have passed since the vote which passed Brexit and nothing is really fixed yet: there is a deal or no deal, exit next month or further postponing… Do you know? The construction of the Eiffel took up less time (less than 800 days)!

清明节是中国的四大传统节日之一。它在每年的 公历4月5日前后，是春分节气后第15日。
The Tomb-sweeping Festival (Qing Ming Festival) is one of the four most significant traditional festivals in China. It is around 5th Apr every year, the 15th day after the Spring Equinox.

清明节主要的习俗是扫墓祭祖和踏青郊游。扫墓祭祖是为了慎终追远，踏青郊游是为了享受春天的乐趣。
The most important custom is tomb sweeping and going for an outing in nature. Tomb sweeping is for remembering the ancestors, going for an outing is to enjoy Spring.

第二届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛不日（búrì. Adj. soon, in short time）将在北京举行。论坛时间尚未敲定，不过预计会是在四月下旬。论坛主要包括开幕式、圆桌峰会和高级别会议三个部分。
The second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) is about to happen in Beijing. The exact date is not confirmed yet, it will be around the end of April. The Forum mainly consists of the opening ceremony, Roundtable, and High-level meetings.

5. 中新旅游年 China-New Zealand Year of Tourism

2019年的“中新旅游年”是2017年3月中国总理李李克强正式访问新西兰的时候，两国政府确定下来的。
The 2019 China-New Zealand Year of Tourism was agreed in March 2017 during China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang’s official visit to New Zealand.

虽然它原定在2月20日开幕，但是中方突然改变了行程，提议延期。是对华为入驻新西兰市场受阻的“反攻”吗？吃瓜群众看破不说破。
Although scheduled to open on 20th Feb, China had a change of plan and requested a postpone. (A comeback to Huawei Ban? Maybe)

3. 华为在新西兰“被拒”对两国关系的影响 the ‘Ban’ of Huawei and its influence on the two countries

在2018年11月27日，新西兰政府通信安全局以“国家安全风险”为由，阻止了新西兰最大的电信公司之一，斯帕克，使用华为的5G设备。
27th Nov 2018, New Zealand’s Government Communications Security Bureau prevented one of the country’s largest telecommunication companies Spark, from using equipment of Chinese technology company Huawei, on the grounds of ‘national security risk’.

外界对这些“禁令”一直众说纷纭。

2. 这次访问有什么特点呢？ What is special about this foreign visit?

这一次自阿德恩在2017年担任新西兰总理后的首次访华。对于“第一个”与中国达成自由贸易的国家来说，这是很长的一段时间——阿德恩就职后的第18个月后。
This visit is the first for Ms Ardern after being elected as Prime Minister of New Zealand in 2017. As the leader of a nation which signed a pioneer free-trade agreement with China, the visit is long overdue.

新西兰现任总理，阿德恩于3月31日抵达北京，开始了她就职后的首次来华访问。中国国家主席习近平和总理李克强分别在人民大会堂会见了阿德恩。这次访问有重大意义，并且取得了积极的进展。

The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern arrived at Beijing at 31st Mar and began her first visit to China since she took the office. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang met with Ms Ardern respectively at the Great Hall of the People. This visit has significant meanings and positive progress was made.

1. 新西兰与中国的前尘往事 History of the relationship between New Zealand and China

“史上最好”，是在2009年新西兰前任总理约翰·基正式访华时，中国时任总理温家宝对当时中新关系的形容。

比去年的主题“新时代：数字中国与未来世界”更进一步，2019中国（深圳）IT领袖峰会将话题聚焦于“IT新未来：5G与人工智能”上。
More than last year’s theme “New Era: Digital China and the Future World”, the 2019 China (Shenzhen) IT Leaders Summit will focus on “New Future for IT: 5G and Artificial Intelligence.”

On April 1, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Yan Shuang hosted a regular press conference, and a reporter asked questions about the progress of the Sino-US high-level economic and trade consultations.
2. 耿爽透露，关于第九轮中美经贸高级别磋商，刘鹤副总理已启程前往美国。此前，商务部发言人在上周已回答了有关提问。
Yan Shuang revealed that regarding the ninth round of China-US high-level economic and trade consultations, Vice Premier Liu He has already set off for the United States. Earlier, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce had answered questions last week.

斯洛伐克总统大选的结果于31日出炉。苏珊娜·卡普托娃以58%的得票率，漂亮的赢得了总统选举，并成为了斯洛伐克历史上的第一位女性总统。

Slovakia Presidential Election result was just released on 31st Mar. Zuzana Caputova won the election beautifully with 58% of the vote and became the first female President in Slovakia history.

不过出人意料的是，这位现年45岁的女总统在赢得总统选举之前的政治经验几乎为零。她是一名环境领域的律师， 并在去年参加了一场受人瞩目的千人游行。
