当地时间6月26日，2020年总统大选的民主党内初选参选人们开始进行了他们的首次辩论。这次辩论会进行两天——26和27日，每晚都会有十名参选人进行辩论。
Local time 26th June, democratic candidates started their first debate in preparation for presidential election 2020. This debate will last two days on 26th and 27th June, and ten candidates will take place in the debate each evening.

此次申奥有两大竞争者，一是意大利的米兰/科尔蒂娜丹佩佐，还有瑞典的斯德哥尔摩/奥勒。经过一系列的激烈角逐，最终在24日花落意大利，以47票压倒瑞典的34票，获得第二十五届冬奥会的举办权。
There are two bidders for the bid of 2026 Winter Olympics Game, Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo of Italy and Stockholm-Are of Sweden. After a series of comparisons, Italy won the bid with 47 votes over 34 of Sweden and became the host of the 25th winter Olympics game.

2017年的章莹颖失踪案终于在今年6月12月开庭。在9天的庭审后，于当地时间6月24日下午2点，该案的陪审团终于判定嫌疑犯克里斯滕森的绑架谋杀罪名成立。
The trial regarding Zhang Yingying’s disappearance finally started on 12th June. After nine days of trial, the jury finally found suspect Christensen guilty for the abduction and murder of Zhang Yingying at local time 2 pm, 24th June.

Local time 11:40 pm Sunday, a passenger train from Sylhet to capital Dhaka derailed at Moulvibazar district, which is at the eastern region of Bangladesh. So far at least five have been confirmed dead and hundreds are injured.

Local authorities are still trying to identify the deceased. The injured are being sent to local hospitals for emergency treatments.

10:55 pm, 17th June, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 fell upon Changning county, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. The depth of this earthquake is 16 km.
Until 18th evening, there have been multiple aftershocks in nearby regions.

To make things worse, the camera was in live-stream. While the netizens were having a good laugh, the minister did not have a clue what was going on and proceeded with his speech.

Although the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam has been standing firm on her ground regarding the extradition bill, under the growing opposition from the Hong Kong public, Mrs. Lam eventually backs down.

一部分香港人民对于该条例的的看法一直处于反对立场，最后在当月9日开始了大规模游行抗议活动，在此期间民警冲突一再升级，甚至出现了受伤者。
Some Hong Kong citizens have always opposed the extradition bill and started a mass protest from 9th June. Confrontations between the protestors and the police escalated during that time period and there are even people injured.

前景回顾：章莹颖是伊利诺伊大学的访问学者。她于2017年6月9日失踪。监控录像显示了她进入嫌疑人克里斯滕森所驾驶车的画面，这就是我们最后一次看见她了。
Background: Ms. Zhang Yingying is a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois. She disappeared on 9th June 2017. Surveillance camera revealed her entering the vehicle of suspect Brendt Christensen and she was never seen since.

自从9日香港民众自发游行示威反对政府签订《逃犯条例》以来，情形持续升级，警民冲突一度恶化。
Since the start of the organized protest against the extradition bill on 9th June, the situation continues to escalate and the clashes between protesters and police increased and became more serious.
