今天（9月5号）上午11点15分，香港特首林郑月娥女士召开了记者会。
Today (5th Sep) 11:15 am, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Ms. Carrie Lam delivered some announcement in a press conference.

记者会上，林郑女士重申了全面撤回《逃犯条例》修订的决策，以及其他三项行动，其主要目的是建立一个有效与香港民众对话的渠道，以解决将近三个月来的争端。
In the press conference, Ms. Lam reiterated the decision to scrap the extradition bill, among three more actions will be taken by the government. The main purpose of the decisions is to build an effective channel for communication with civilians and solve the confrontations and protests which have been carried on for almost three months.

飓风多利安被美国国家飓风中心定性为五级飓风。它的风速可达到每小时285千米，非常危险。
As classified by the US National Hurricane Centre, Hurricane Dorian is a category five storm with a speed of up to 285 km/h and is extremely dangerous.

它即将登陆巴哈马地区。当地居民以被疏散，否则可能有生命危险，附近居民也建议储备好7天的食物已备万一。。部分国内航班也被暂时取消了。
It is about to reach the Bahamas region. Local residents have been evacuated, otherwise, their lives may be on the line. Nearby residents are also advised to store 7 days’ worth of food to prepare for the worst. Some domestic flights are also temporarily canceled.

虽然周围有好心乘客掏出纸巾帮忙，但是却不够除干净液体。这时候，两名客工挺身而出，戴上手套，细心地清理地上的咖啡。
Although passengers were trying to help with cleaning up with their tissue, it was not enough. Then, two foreign workers stepped up, wore their gloves and carefully cleaned up the coffee.

Local time night of 30th Aug, a shooting broke out at a stadium in Mobile city of Alabama state, US.

据警方说，案件发生时间为一场高中橄榄球比赛后，造成了10名15到18岁之间的年轻人受伤，但在就医后都没有生命危险。
According to the police, the shooting happened after a high school football match, caused 10 teenagers between the age of 15 to 18 injured. After seeking medical attention, none of them are in any danger.

继上千人在议会抗议Boris Johnson首相议会休会的决议后，英国民间左翼团体，“重返欧洲是可能的”在31日举行大规模示威活动。
After thousands protested outside the House of Parliament against Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s decision to suspend Parliament, a left-wing group ‘Another Europe is possible’ organized a mass-scale demonstration on 31st Aug.

活动范围为30多个城市，其中首都伦敦的示威规模最大。
The scope of the demonstration spreads to over 30 cities, among which the demonstration in Capital city London is the most heated.

根据路透社最新报道，由于美国对华为实施的销售禁令，华为预计9月18日于慕尼黑推出的新款Mate 30系列手机，但是由于特朗普政府今年5月把华为列入黑名单，该款手机将无法使用谷歌应用和相关的Play Store应用生态。这无疑对华为是一大打击，毕竟没有了谷歌手机应用，使用者常用的许多应用程序如Facebook、Whatsapp、Gmail、谷歌地图等都无法使用，华为全球的销售料将受影响。

The Parliament, currently on vacation, was scheduled to reconvene in the start of September, whereas the Prime Minister’s decision will postpone the reconvene to 14th Oct, which is just a bit more than 2 weeks before the scheduled Brexit date. This amount of time is not enough to make any actual decisions.
