There have been more than 1595 confirmed cases of coronavirus infections and 12 deaths in South Korea. JP Morgan warns that the number may peak at 10,000.

The outbreak of Coronavirus in South Korea continues snowballing. As of Tuesday (Feb 25) afternoon, the number of confirmed infections in South Korea has seen a rapid increase to 977 cases.

新加坡采取新的对应措施，从2月26日晚11时59分起，凡是过去14天到访过韩国大邱市和庆尚北道清道郡的访客将不得入境新加坡或在新加坡过境。
New measures are adopted in Singapore. From 11:59 pm on the evening of Feb 26, travelers from Cheongdo country and Daegu city in South Korea will not be allowed to enter or make a transit in Singapore.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir turned in his resignation to Malaysia’s King at 1 pm today (Feb 24). After gaining an audience with the King, his resignation has been accepted, as verified by the Chief Secretary to the government.

Over the past few days, South Korea has seen an explosive rate of increase of various infections. There were only 31 cases on Feb 18, which turned to 602 cases on Feb 23. That is an increase of 20 times!

韩国全境都出现了确诊病例。
There are confirmed infections in all cities in South Korea.

今天（2月23日）新加坡没有新冠病毒病例增长。
There are no new cases of Coronavirus infections in Singapore today (Feb 23).

当前总确诊病例为89，51人已治愈出院，38人仍在住院，5人在重症监护病房。
Until now, there have been 89 total cases of confirmed infections, amongst which 51 have recovered and been discharged while 38 are still hospitalised, 5 of them are still in ICU.

We have the infrastructure and the experience. And due to the coronavirus outbreak, the world might need us to step up. As Mayor, I will make sure London is ready to answer the call and host the Olympics again.”

The Coronavirus infection reached an outbreak in South Korea on Feb 20. Within only one day, there are 53 new cases confirmed for Coronavirus infection, putting the total number at 104.

其中大邱市疫情尤其严重。一共有43例确诊出现在大邱市和临近的庆尚省。
The outbreak in Daegu city is especially severe. There are a total of 43 cases confirmed in Daegu and neighbouring Gyeongsang province.

此前日本一名60岁的男性司机本月16日确诊感染新冠病毒。在追踪过程中发现，该司机曾在2月初载过10名共同社员工中，其中一位是负责首相官邸采访任务的女记者，并与安倍首相有过近距离接触。
A 60-year-old Japanese male driver was confirmed to have been infected with Coronavirus on Feb 16. It was revealed upon tracking that the driver drove 10 employees of Kyodo News, one of whom was a female in charge of interviewing the Prime Minister’s official Residence and have had close contacts with Prime Minister Abe.
