由于过去几天内新加坡的新冠病毒确诊急剧上升，本地政府学校（除了幼儿园）将会采取混合教育模式。
As the situation of COVID-19 escalated over the past few days, Singapore is implementing a blended learning model for local schools except MOE Kindergartens.

从2020年4月开始，所有的学校将会每周一天在网络上进行教学，学生会居家上课。小学在星期三、中学星期四、初级学院和高级中学在星期五会采取上述模式。
Commencing from April 2020, all schools will conduct one day of Home-Based Learning(HBL) a week, with Wednesday for Primary schools, Thursday for Secondary schools and Friday for Junior Colleges of Centralised Institutes.

为了预防新冠病毒在公众间的传播，于本周二宣布的安全距离法案将会在周五（5月27日）生效。

In view of the heightened risk of importation of COVID-19 cases into Singapore, all short-term visitors will now not be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a statement on Sunday (Mar 23).

The total number of cases in Italy rose by 6,557 to 53,578 cases. The most heavily hit northern region of Lombardy sees a total of 3,095 deaths and 25,515 confirmed cases.

Two patients of COVID-19 died on Saturday (Mar 21) due to complications, one is a 75-year-old Singaporean and the other is a 64-year-old Indonesia national.

As of 19 Mar 2020, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed and verified an additional 24 imported and eight local cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

新加坡卫生部本周三3月18日称，本地新增47例确诊病例，其中33例为境外输入。
There is an all-time high of 47 new cases in Singapore, of which 33 are imported cases, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Wednesday (Mar 18).

卫生部同时称又有3例今日治愈出院。仍未出院的196例病例中，有15例情况危急，不过大部分状态稳定。
The MOH also adds that 3 more cases have recovered and were discharged today. Of the 196 cases who remain in hospital, most are stable while 15 are in critical condition.

新加坡卫生部本周二（3月17日）称，本地新增23例确诊病例，其中17例为外来病例，2例可联系到先前的病例而4例仍在追踪源头。
There are 23 more cases of COVID-19 infection confirmed in Singapore, of which 17 are imported cases, 2 are linked to previous cases and 4 are currently unlinked, said the Ministry of Health on Tuesday (Mar 17).

目前本地总确诊数已达260。 卫生部表示114例已治愈出院。
The new cases put the total number of confirmed infection to 260. The MOH also said that 114 cases have fully recovered from infection and have been discharged from hospital.
