The death toll from Coronavirus in Italy has increased by 793 to 4,825, officials said on Saturday (Mar 21). The increase of 19.6 per cent sets a daily record.
总确诊人数增长6,557例，达到53,578例。而受新冠病毒影响最严重的北部伦巴第区域总共有3,095例死亡和25,515例确诊病例。
The total number of cases in Italy rose by 6,557 to 53,578 cases. The most heavily hit northern region of Lombardy sees a total of 3,095 deaths and 25,515 confirmed cases.
目前意大利北部受新冠病毒爆发影响更严重，占全国大约三分之二的病例；相比之下，南部各个区域的死亡人数目前仅有数十。
So far, the richer Northern Italy has been hit harder by the coronavirus outbreak with about two-thirds of the nation’s cases, whereas the poorer southern regions have reported a few dozen deaths each.
