东京奥运会选手村发现第一个新冠病毒感染者！东京奥运会主办方（zhǔ bàn fāng - n. Organizer)本周六（7月17日）公布。

因为疫情而已经被推迟(tuī chí - v. To postpone)一年的东京奥运会，这一路走来可谓是困难重重。日本疫情一直没有被控制住，东京近期的单日新增病例数一直在1000例以上。因此，日本民众对照常举办奥运会也萌生了疑虑。据一些民意调查(mínyì diào chá - opinion poll)表明，超过半数的东京市民都持反对意见(chí fǎnduì yìjiàn - To have opposite opinion)。

但为了不让前期的财力物力投入付之东流(fù zhī dōng liú - goes to waste)，日本政府仍执意举办奥运会。但又因不完善(bù wán shàn - adj. Incomplete, not thorough)的防疫措施而多次出现在新闻和社交媒体上。

该被感染者的身份并未被公布。

疫情刚刚转好，3天前新出现的感染群就给我们打来当头一棒(dāng tóu yī bàng - a struck in the head)。

早在去年疫情刚开始的4月，新加坡政府为了控制病毒传播，就禁止KTV一类的夜间娱乐场所(yè jiān yú lè chǎng suǒ - nighttime entertainment venue)关闭。为求生存，业主们纷纷改行做餐饮服务。

但这实际上是换汤不换药，一部分该场所依旧没有依法管控来往客人以及工作人员的接触，成为了病毒传播的温床。而病例数再次大涨的原因就是在这类场所工作的陪酒小姐(péi jiǔ xiǎo jiě - social hostess)。她们工作性质就是每桌流窜陪酒，直接导致不同桌的客人交叉感染。

虽然新加坡政府已勒令发现病例的KTV暂停营业，对工作人员进行强制检测，并呼吁有到访史的客人主动进行免费检测(miǎn fèi jiǎn cè - free testing)。然而，流连此类场所并不是一件风光的事情，难免会有人隐瞒到访史，有可能会扩大传染范围。

在这里，只可以呼吁任何有感染可能的人主动进行检测。新加坡疫情的平稳需要众人协力，才可以早日达成。

新加坡今日（7月10号）新增社区传播病例数终于归零(guī líng - v. Return to zero)，时隔67天再次看到年底旅行的曙光(shǔ guāng - n. Dawn)。

然而，邻居们频频出状况。这次疫情告急(gào jí - in a hurry, in an emergency)的是仅2小时机程的印度尼西亚。

印度尼西亚本周六10号单日新增35094起新冠病毒感染病例，和826起死亡病例。

新加坡不仅即刻收紧(shōu jǐn - v. To tighten)非新加坡公民或永久居民的旅客从印尼的入境许可(rù jìng xǔ kě - n. Entry permit)批准，也将从13号0时起禁止(jīn zhǐ - v. To forbid)过去21天去过印度尼西亚的旅客在新加坡转机。

东南亚人口最多的印度尼西亚将从本周六（7月3日）开始增大限制强度，以应对因更具传播力的德尔塔新冠变种病毒引起的第二波疫情。

新加坡疫苗接种在井井有条地进行着，而世界上一部分国家也在过半民众免疫后，放宽了要求民众戴口罩的要求。
Vaccination drive is proceeding as plannned in Singapore. Some countries have stopped requiring citizens to wear mask after having more than half of which vaccinated.

然而，打了疫苗就真可以高枕无忧吗？

淡马锡基金会6月24日宣布，7月5日至8月5日之间，每一户新加坡家庭都将可领取一个免费的脉搏血氧仪。
Every household in Singapore will be eligible to collect a free oximeter from 5 July to 5 August, Temasek Foundation announced on 24 June.

本地6月22日新增18起新冠病例，将红山景小贩中心的感染群扩大到78人。
There are 18 new Covid-19 cases on June 22, some of which take the Bukit Merah hawker centre cluster to 78 cases.

政府正在对红山一带的7个组屋区的居民们进行强制检测。该感染群病例数仍可能增加，早日排查正是谨慎的做法。
As the government conducting mandatary testing on residents of 7 nearby HDB estates along the Bukit Merah region, the cluster might still expand. Pre-testing is the cautious thing to do.

同时，今天的新增病例中包含3起无关联病例，或将引出更多感染群。
In the meantime, 3 non-related cases are included into the locally transmitted cases today, which might lead to more clusters.

在不超过场馆容量的50％的前提下，将于7月23日开始举办的东京奥运会以及残奥会把进入每个场馆的观众人数上限定为10000人，东京奥运会组委会6月21日宣布。
Tokyo Olympic organizers said 21 June that they will allow up to 10,000 spectators to enter each venue or the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics Game Which will commence on 23 July , under the premise that the number does not exceed 50 percent of its capacity.
