疫苗安排上了，医疗程序越来越成熟了。2021年，我们的生活能回归正轨吗？
这是很多普通人民的共同想法。但是，世界卫生组织的突发卫生事件规划执行主任Michael Ryan说警告人们不要过早懈怠(xièdài – v. to drop guard on sth., to relax)。
“It will be very premature, and I think unrealistic, to think that we’re going to finish with this virus by the end of the year,” Ryan told journalists.
“But I think what we can finish with, if we’re smart, is the hospitalisations, the deaths and the tragedy associated with this pandemic.” (The Straits Times)
“我们能在今年结束之前消灭这个病毒的想法不仅为时过早(wéishíguòzǎo – [idiom][adj.]premature, too early)，而且不切实际(búqièshíjì – [idiom][adj.] unrealistic)。”Ryan对记者说。
“但我认为，如果我们聪明的话，和此次疫情相关的住院、死亡以及悲剧(bēijù – n. tragedy)可以结束。”（海峡时报）
