截止到7月12日中午12点，新加坡卫生部新确诊178例新冠病毒病例，其中包括1个境外输入病例和1个社区内传播病例。这打破了近日来最低社区内病例的记录。
As of 12pm (Jul 12), the Ministry of Health has confirmed additional 178 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore. Amongst which there are 1 imported case and 1 case in community, which is the lowest number of cases in community in recent days.
据新加坡卫生部称，这1例社区内病例是“对全部年龄在13岁及以上并被医生初期诊断有急性呼吸道感染进行病毒检测的结果”。
As said by the MOH, the 1 case in the community is detected “as a result of community testing of all individuals aged 13 and above who are diagnosed with acute respiratory infection at first presentation to a doctor.”
截止今天，新加坡感染病例总数已达45,961例。目前仍有3,650个感染者在医院或者社区内设施内就诊。
As of today, the total number of cases in Singapore has reached 45,961. There are still 3,650 active cases either in hospitals or community facilities.
和一些其他已经出现第二波病例数增加现象的国家，新加坡对病毒的管控可圈可点，而这也是新加坡现金的医疗系统和新加坡居民共同努力负责地抗疫的结果。
Compare to some countries which sees a second wave of domestic surge of cases, Singapore has been containing the virus nicely, which owns up to the advanced healthcare system and every Singaporean residents acting responsibly.
