A Tai solder fired shots at a mall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and led to the deaths of at least 20 people on Saturday (Feb 8).

He was holed up in the shopping mall for 9 hours after his shooting. Security forces entered the mall and helped hundreds escape from danger, while the shooter is still at large.
