The conflict between the US and Iran has heightened in light of the recent event in which Iranian Major Generall Qassim Suleiman was killed along with other military officials in an airstrike by the US. US President Donald Trump has tweeted that if Iran retaliates, the US will attack 52 targets in Iran rapidly, which include some locations which are very important to Iranian people and culture.

At the same time, a resolution which calls for the US troops in Iraq to leave the country has passed by Iraqi MPs. Although Iraq has been in critical relationships with both neighbouring Iran and the US, this airstrike which happened within the Iraqi border has made the country feel a violation of its sovereignty.
