Recently, a banana wall art on display at Art Basel in the US has raised a lot of attention.
This wall art, in the form of a banana being taped to the wall, was done by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan. It raised a lot of discussions online after it is sold at an insane price of US$120,000.
A local durian shop has copied that idea today by taping a durian to the wall, which is selling at more than S$160,000. Actually, this turns out to be a joke by the shop owner after seeing the banana wall art.
Unfortunately, a banana being taped to the wall with one thick tape is far more durable than a durian which can hardly be held by three duck tapes. This durian has been taken off the wall now since the tapes can no longer hold it.
