A volcano erupted at Whakaari Island on Monday, Dec 9, which is in the Northern part of New Zealand.
新西兰警方随即采取救援行动，有20余人被从岛上带离，其中5人死亡，20人左右受伤。
New Zealand police quickly acted and performed search and rescue missions. More than 20 were evacuated from the Island, amongst which five people were killed and around 20 were injured.
警方仍需时间确认一些外籍游客的国籍。
Police still need some time to identify the nationality of some foreign tourists.
目前仍有很多人失踪，但目前生机渺茫。
At the moment, many are still missing but their chance of livelihood is low.
