作为新加坡的旅游胜地之一，位于新加坡圣淘沙岛的37米高鱼尾狮将会在今年年尾开始被拆除的工作，公众在10月20号之前仍然可以前去参观。
As one of the top tourism spot in Singapore, the 37-metre Merlion statue in Sentosa Island will being to be demolished end of this year, but it will still be open to public by 20th Oct.
这次动工是为了方便给圣淘沙岛的南北岸建造一个主题通道。
This demolish is to make way for a themed linkway in between south and north shore of Sentosa Island.
这座鱼尾狮是新加坡的7座鱼尾狮雕塑之一。它被建造于1995年，是7座里最高的鱼尾狮。不知道此后会不会有另一座鱼尾狮雕塑来顶替它。
This Merlion statue is one of seven in Singapore. Being the tallest out of seven, it was constructed in 1995. Wonder whether there will be a new Merlion statue to come abroad.
