中方与23日晚宣布了对价值750亿美元的美国进口产品加税，美国总统特朗普称将对价值2500亿美元的从中国进口的产品也加税，从25%上调至30%，10月1日起效。
China has announced on the night of 23rd Aug that it will post additional tariffs on 75 billion dollar worth of imports from the US. Then, US President Trump declared that ‘starting on October 1st, the 250 billion dollars of goods and products from China currently being taxed at 25% will be taxed at 30%.’
据特朗普总统的推文表示，将对原定9月1日加税的3000亿美元从中国进口的产品的关税从10%上调至15%。
According to his tweet, 300 billion dollars of goods and products from China which were scheduled to be subject to an increased tax of 10% will ‘now be taxed at 15%’.
特朗普称，中国加税之举并不应该，完全是政治推动的。
President Trump said that China ‘should not’ be increasing its tariffs and the act was completely politically motivated.
