今天（7月31日），中国大陆的海峡两岸旅游交流协会发布公告：鉴于当前两岸关系，决定自2019年8月1日起暂停47个城市大陆居民赴台个人游试点。
Today (31st Jul), the Culture and Tourism Ministry of China issued a statement, saying that considering the state of the relationship between Mainland China and Taiwan, China decides to temporarily forbid citizens from 47 cities to travel to Taiwan independently from 1st Aug 2019.
该47个城市是中国之前开放可以赴台自由行的仅有城市。现权限撤销，不知会不会有暑期旅行计划的居民们造成影响。
These cities were the only 47 which gained permission to issue individual travel permits for Taiwan. Now the permit is withdrawn, it may affect the travel plan of some travelers during China’s summer holiday.
如需赴台，游客们仍可选择团体签证。
Travelers can still choose to get group travel permits if traveling to Taiwan.
