当地时间星期日夜里11点40分，一辆从Sylhet市驶往首都Dhaka的客运火车在孟加拉东部的Moulvibazar区脱轨，目前已经导致五人死亡，上百人受伤。
Local time 11:40 pm Sunday, a passenger train from Sylhet to capital Dhaka derailed at Moulvibazar district, which is at the eastern region of Bangladesh. So far at least five have been confirmed dead and hundreds are injured.
目前，当地政府仍在确认死者身份。而受伤者们被陆续送入附近医院进行治疗。
Local authorities are still trying to identify the deceased. The injured are being sent to local hospitals for emergency treatments.
伤亡乘客的救助工作还在继续。多家当地报纸预计最终的死亡人数会不下五人，伤者会在200以上。
The search and rescue are still ongoing. Local newspapers reported that the death toll as at least five, and the injured will be more than 200.
据当地消防机关调查报告，这起脱轨时间的原因是在驶过Barochahara时，数个连接火车轮的转向架脱离轨道，使火车翻入运河。不过根本原因尚未确认，副局长称当地机关很有可能会创建调查小组来确认事故根本原因。
According to the local fire department, ‘the accident took place as several bogies veered off the tracks after a culvert over the Barochhara Canal’, causing the train to partially fell into the canal. However, the fundamental reason is not yet identified. Deputy commissioner of the district said that an investigation committee is likely to be formed to investigate the cause of this accident.
