在巴布亚新几内亚举行的亚太经济合作组织APEC峰会于昨天11月18日落幕。中国和美国领导人就贸易、投资等多项问题进行激烈交锋，双方都拒绝让步。
APEC领导人20多年来首次没有在峰会结束后发表联合声明，仅由轮值主席巴布亚新几内亚发布主席声明，这凸显中美贸易战引发的对立氛围加剧。
冰冻三尺非一日之寒，中美之间的贸易摩擦预计在短期内难以得到妥善解决。若中美贸易战持续，将会给全球各个国家带来不可估计的严重影响，影响范围更可能由经济涉及到政治、安全和全球局势等层面。
(Asian-Pacific Economic Corporation) APEC summit 2018, which was held at Papua New Guinea, ended yesterday 18th Nov. Representatives from China and the U.S. discussed actively on issues regarding trade, investment and etc. Both parties are unwilling to compromise.
For the first time in 20 years, APEC leaders failed to agree on a final communique. A statement was only made by President of Papua New Guinea. This marks an elevated confrontation due to China-Us Trade War.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. We cannot foresee a thorough resolution over this conflict in any time soon. If the trade war continues, it may seriously affect other countries as well, and the area of influence may expand from economics to politics, national security, global environment and more.
