1. Master the alphabet
When learning a language, you are usually taught how to pronounce every word of the alphabet. But I know that most people miss the first day of the language course, thereby missing this part. My advice, make sure you can pronounce all the letters, correctly.
2. Listen to and watch a lot of content
Netflix, podcasts, YouTube, Quora video (For native chinese videos, you can also consider youku or baidu)…. You name it. There are a ton of resources out there for language learners to practise their listening skills. And guess what??? All this content involves native speakers who can pronounce the words exactly the way you should learn them.
3. Learn New Vocabulary with your phone
What do I mean by this? Generally, people learn new words and pronounce them the way they imagine they should be pronounced. If you want to get that native accent, you want to use a dictionary app, that can pronounce the new words correctly for you.
4. Sing songs
When learning a new language, you must listen to and try to sing as many songs as possible. Why? Well because it is fun and also helps you practise pronouncing the words right because you want to sound like the singer.
