In his speech at the 40th anniversary of the Chinese-speaking movement, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced that the Singapore Promotion Chinese Language Council has launched the Singapore Chinese-language database. The public will be able to access the Chinese-speaking vocabulary with Singapore characteristics and its source free of charge from next month.
