Today (4th Oct), Chief executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam invoked an emergency law to pass a face mask ban, which will take effect at midnight on 5th Oct.
反对团体已向香港高等法院申请临时禁令，禁止该法案生效。
Oppositions of this ban have already filed an application for a temporary ban at the supreme court to prevent the above-mentioned face mask ban to take effect.
与此同时，香港多地开始大规模游行抗议活动，警民冲突激烈；示威者在公共设施处放火以示不满，并造成数条地铁线路停运。
In the meantime, multiple protests have sparked all around Hong Kong and many confrontations between the police and protestors occurred. The protestors set fire at some public facilities to show their dissatisfaction and also leads to some MTR line ceased operation.
