The Hong Kong Fugitive Offenders protests have been postponed since June. Due to media and network controls, mainlanders can only obtain very limited reports and information and rarely express their opinions and responses to the demonstrations.
However, the situation in Hong Kong has recently warmed up, causing more and more attention from mainland Chinese netizens. Last weekend, protesters in Hong Kong shocked the Liaison Office and white people attacked the public. After some news films were scattered to the
mainland, a group of mainland netizens launched the 'going out' on Facebook" campaign and bought the Yuen Long egg roll to express dissatisfaction with the protesters and support from the Hong Kong government, the police and the white people.
