2016年7月12日，新加坡男子邱贵福与女友，中国女工程师崔雅洁，因他假冒洗衣店少东一事产生激烈争端。邱随后在停放于滨海花园的轿车内杀害崔，把尸体搬运到林厝港并分三天焚烧，彻底毁尸灭迹。
12th Jul 2016, Leslie Khoo Kwee Hock had a violent confrontation with his girlfriend, Chinese engineer Cui Yajie regarding his fake identity as the son of the owner of a laundry shop, while in fact， he was the manager. Mr。 Khoo then killed Ms。 Cui in his car parked at Gardens by the Bay, moved her body to Lim Chu Kang and burnt it over three days.
案件与今年3月开始审理，并于7月敲定谋杀罪行成立。但由于法官判定被告最开始没有谋杀意图，只是在失手杀害受害人后才决定毁尸，判了他终身监禁。
The trial began this year in March and Mr。 Khoo was convicted for murder in July. Considering he did not intend to kill the victim in the beginning and only discard the body after he accidentally killed her, the judge sentenced him life imprisonment.
被告今年51岁，根据新加坡法律，可以受鞭刑的年龄为50岁，因此被告也侥幸无需受刑。
The defendant is 51 years old. According to Singapore law, the maximum age for canning is 50, hence he ‘luckily’ escaped this punishment.
