A total of 300,000 surgical masks will be given out to taxi and private-hire car drivers, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on Monday (Feb 10). This main purpose is to let drivers offer masks to passengers who have symptoms of illness but are not wearing masks.
同时，出租车调配中心从周二起将设置八个体温检测站。出租车司机应每天进行体温检测并获得一个贴纸。
In the meantime, eight temperature-taking stations will be set up by taxi operators. The drivers should take their temperature daily and they will receive a sticker for the day.
私召车司机将需主动测量体温并上传到公司软件上。
Private-hire car drivers will need to take their own temperatures and upload to their respective company app.
