There are two presidential candidates competing a close match in this election, current president Joko Widodo and opposition Mr. Prabowo. After the voting closed on 18th Apr, both parties announced that their own fast calculations show that they will win.
虽然多个民调机构公布出的快速统计结果都显示现任总统佐科得票率领先了越10个百分点，但是普拉博沃仍然坚称自己会胜选，并处处指责民调机构作假、质疑选举舞弊行为，煽动支持者“不要让胜利被掠夺”。
Although multiple poll agencies’ fast calculation result showing that the current President Mr. Widodo is up by at least 10 points, Mr. Prabowo still insisted that he will win the election. On top of that, he has been accusing the poll agencies of falsifying their results and the government for the act of manipulation during the election, stirring up his supporters to ‘not let the victory be stolen’.
印尼选举委员会在本周二，5月22号凌晨正式公布了选举结果：现任总统佐科以55.5%的得票率险胜选举。但是“输不起”的普拉博沃依旧在否认和质疑。
The General Election Commission officially published the election result in the early morning on Tuesday, which shows that Mr. Widodo won the presidency with 55.5% of votes. However, ‘sour loser’ Prabowo is still in denial and doubt.
普拉博沃的大批支持者引起了大规模的示威抗议活动，并进一步上升为暴乱。目前已经至少造成了6人死亡。超过200人受伤。
A large-scale protest is started by mass-number of supporters of Mr. Prabowo, which later escalated into a riot. Currently, at least 6 are dead and more than 200 are injured from the riot.
印尼警方在尽全力控制局面，至今已经至少逮捕了20名示威者。印尼当局也将要封锁一部分社交媒体来限制肇事分子散播谣言。
Indonesia Police Department are trying their best to contain the situation. At least 20 protestors are arrested so far. The authority will also temporarily block some social media platforms to restrict the spreading of rumors by criminals.
