自从在去年12月的G20峰会上协议暂时停战（zànshí tíngzhàn – n. temporary trace）后，中美贸易战一直没有正面的进展（jìnzhǎn – n. progress）。
Since a truce at the G20 summit last December, the US-China Trade War has not made positive progress.
虽然双方在今年2月15日也进行过谈判（tánpàn – n. negotiation / v. negotiate），但是双方并没有达成共识（dáchéng gòngshí – v. reach a common understanding）。原定的暂时停战日期，3月1日，也被推迟（tuīchí – v. postpone, delay）了。
Although a prior round of negotiations was done around 15th Feb, both parties broke up without a deal. The original truce end date has also been postponed from 1st Mar.
美国代表团（dàibiǎotuán – n. representation team, delegation）会在本周四，3月28日，访问（fǎngwèn – v. to visit in an official natural）北京；而中国代表团会在4月3日访问美国。
The US delegations will be visiting Beijing this coming Thursday, 28th Mar, while the Chinese delegations will also be visiting the US on 3rd Apr.
双方都希望能在4月底之前敲定（qiāodìng – v. knock down, settle, decide）一个合理（hélǐ – adj. reasonable）共利（gònglì – adj. mutually beneficial）的贸易协议（màoyì xiéyì – n. trade deal）。
Both parties are hoping to have a reliable, mutually beneficial trade deal by the end of April.
