【新冠病毒】疫情扩散,日本怎样应对? How is Japan dealing with Coronavirus?

目前日本的新冠病毒确诊人数已达416,是除中国以外确诊病例最多的国家,其中包括“钻石公主号”上的355例和日本境内的61例。
Right now, Japan has the second highest number of Coronavirus infections outside China, with a total number of 416 cases confirmed, which include 355 passengers on the Diamond Princess Cruise ship and 61 cases in Japan.

然而在今天之前,日本各地的大型活动仍激情照旧。2月16日的各地马拉松,很多参赛者发着高烧仍坚持参赛,达到了50万参赛人数。然后又有2月17日的“会阳节”,万人近乎全裸抢夺一根象征好运的木棍。
However, large-scale activities have still been on fire. A few participants still attended the Marathon in various parts of Japan on Feb 16, reaching a final turnout of 500,000 people. There was also the ‘naked festival’ on Feb 17, where tens of thousands of people fighting to grab a stick which symbolizes good luck.

今天(2月17日),日本政府终于开始更加认真对待疫情了。
Then, the Japanese government finally starts to take this more seriously today (Feb 17).

东京马拉松赛事组委会取消了大众组的比赛,只会剩下200人参加精英组赛事。
The Tokyo Marathon Foundation has cancelled the non-elite event and there will only be 200 elites participating in the event.

日本政府也开始倡导在家办公或出勤错开高峰期。
The Japanese government has also recommended working from home or travelling outside of peak hour.

不过目前,万人瞩目的2020年东京奥运会暂时不会延期。
But at least for now, the 2020 Summer Olympics will not be postponed.
