The situation with coronavirus continues escalating over the past few days, there have been 415 confirmed cases and 19 deaths as of now.
美国华盛顿大学在3月7日出现第一例确诊病例，为一名工作人员。校方随后在6日正式发邮件宣布停课，将线下课程转为线上课程，从3月9日周一正式实行。
A first confirmed case, a staff at the University of Washington, was discovered on Mar 7. The school later sent an official email saying that ‘starting Monday, March 9, classes will no longer be meeting in person’.
无独有偶，斯坦福大学和南加州大学也将开始采取线上授课的方式。其他一些高校也对发布邮件，虽然课程正常进行，一些校内和校外活动视情况被取消或提高防护工作。
The Stamford University and the University of Southern California also takes on the same measure of online classes. Some other top universities have also sent out announcements that although classes will carry out as normal, some activities inside or outside campus may be cancelled or see an increase in precautionary measures.
