新加坡卫生部本周二(4月21日)新确认1111例新冠病毒感染病例,其中1050例来自住在宿舍的外国客工。
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed on Tuesday (Apr 21) 1426 new Covid-19 cases, amongst which 1050 are foreign workers living in dormitories.
新增的20个病例是新加坡公民或者永久居民,33个病例是住在宿舍外的工作准证持有者。
Apart from them, there are 20 cases who are Singaporeans and permanent residents and 33 cases who are work permit holders who did not stay in dormitories.
今天仍没有输入型病例。
There are no imported cases.
本地病例总数达到9,125,跨过9000大关。
The total number of cases has crossed the 9,000 mark, reaching 9,125.
在这种情形之下,新加坡政府今日公布一系列新举措来加强对病毒的控制。
Under these circumstances, a series of measures have been announced by the Singapore government to strengthen the curb of viruses.
首先,新加坡总理李显龙宣布“断路器”措施将会被延长至6月1日,为期一个月;现有措施也会加大力度。
First of all, as announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the circuit breaker will be extended by another month to June 1, and the existing measures will be tightened until May 4.
所有的现取带走式的餐饮店以及美发理发店将会在今天(4月21日)晚上11点59分之前关闭。
All standalone food and beverage (F&B) outlets selling mainly drinks and snacks, hairdressing and barber shops will shut down by 11.59pm today (Apr 21).、

Optician shops will no longer accept walk-in customers and must operate by appointments only.

学校方面,新加坡教育部宣布将会调前以往的6月假期。新的假期将会在5月5日开始,学校会在6月2日开放。鉴于第三学期将会较长,7月20至26日将会实行一个其中小假期。
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced that the June holiday will be brought forward. The new holiday will begin on May 5 and the school will reopen on June 2. A Mid-term break will be put in place from July 20 to 26 to adapt to the extended Term 3.
