南太平洋岛国所罗门群岛总理苏嘉瓦瑞（Manasseh Sogavare）9月16日召开内阁会议，决定中断与台湾的外交关系，与中国建交。
Manasseh Sogavare, Prime Minister of the Sovereign Islands of the South Pacific islands, held a cabinet meeting on September 16 and decided to interrupt diplomatic relations with Taiwan and establish diplomatic relations with China.
