About the dispute between China and the US: Xing Tian Fengxiong, the witness of Japan and the US trade war gives some advice

Japan is a rare country in Asia that has had a large-scale trade war with the US, and XingTianFengxiong is a witness to the history that is still alive.
在东京接受BBC中文采访时，行天丰雄分析了中美贸易战的前景。“要成功实现未来的国际合作，有一些新前提。第一，各方都要承认国际合作能带来好处，但必须谋求共同受益，不能搞零和游戏；其次，必须做出某种程度的牺牲，甚至是在一些主权问题上做出让步。比如说，当全球其它国家遭受需求短缺的时候，你可能需要刺激本国经济，但可能你又不愿意接受加剧财政赤字这样的安排。”
In an interview with BBC Chinese in Tokyo, Xing Tian Fengxiong analyzed the prospects of Sino-US trade war. "To achieve future international cooperation successfully, there are some new prerequisites. First, all parties must recognize that international cooperation can bring benefits, but must seek common benefits, can not engage in zero-sum games; second, must make a certain degree sacrifice, even making concessions on some sovereign issues. For example, when other countries in the world suffer from a shortage of demand, you may need to stimulate the domestic economy, but you may not be willing to accept arrangements that increase the fiscal deficit."
