中美第十二轮中美经贸高级别磋商于30日至31日在中国上海进行。中方代表人为国务院副总理刘鹤等，美方是贸易代表莱特希泽等人。
12th round of trade talks between China and the US lasted from 30th and 31st Jul in Shanghai, China. Leading representatives are Vice Premier, Liu He from China and Ambassador Robert Lighthizer.
中美双方就贸易方面的多个问题进行协商，其中包括中方会视情加购美农产品来保证贸易平衡。但目前仍没有达成协议。
Two parties discussed at length on several key issues, including China increasing import of US agricultural products if possible to ensure trade balance. So far still no deal is made.
下一轮磋商将会在9月开始。
Next round of negotiation will commence in September.
