The Sino-US relationship has been in constant conflict in recent two years. Since the negotiation and signing of a trade deal, the relationship has seen a good turn for the second half of 2019, until the COVID-19 pandemic made the situation even more unpredictable.

A business advisory firm based in Washington recently conducted a survey on 1,012 adults in America, amongst which 40% claim that they would not purchase products from China which is higher than their adversary towards products from other countries, with 22% for India and 17% for Mexico.

This negative impression towards Chinese products may be affected by the recent pandemic of COVID-19. Moreover, with the presidential election in less in six months, China could be even more of a target by some politicians.
