牛津辞典2018年年度词汇新鲜出炉（xīnxiānchūlú, fresh out of the oven）啦！它就是—当当当当—TOXIC!
Oxford Dictionary has recently released its word of the year 2018. It is, drumroll please, toxic!
Toxic的中文意思是有毒的。当然，牛津辞典还表明了它的一些今年的附加（fùjiā, additional）含义，比如说：与毒物有关或由毒物引起的；极坏的或及其有害的。
Toxic means poisonous in Chinese. Of course, the Oxford dictionary has indicated some of its new meanings, for example: relating to or caused by poison; very bad, or harmful.
但是，如果你认为中文“有毒”的意思只有toxic一个的话，那你真的是图样图森破（túyàngtúsēnpò, a sound-alike translation of too young too simple）了!
However, if you think that Chinese “yǒudú” has only one meaning: toxic, then you are really too naive!

词义1：有毒确实有毒素（dúsù, toxin）、会毒死人的意思。
例：有些蘑菇是有毒的，不能吃哦！吃了会中毒的！
Meaning No.1: “yǒudú” means contains poison, able to poison people indeed.
For example, You cannot eat some mushrooms because they are toxic! You may be poisoned after eating them.
词义2：吐槽（tǔcáo, complain in a humorous way）别人或自嘲（zìcháo, self pity）运气不好。
例：今天晚上打游戏把把输，今天晚上真是有毒 / 我今天晚上真是中毒了！
Meaning No.2: Complaining about bad luck about others or yourself.
For example, I lost all my games tonight. Tonight is super unlucky! / It is not my night!
词义3：形容某种事物有精神污染（jīngshénwūrǎn, soul pollution, has the same meaning as brainwash）的魔力（mólì, magical power），让人像中毒一样上瘾（shàngyǐn, addicted, hooked on）。
例：这个洗脑神曲真有毒！我听了一遍就停不下来了！
Meaning No.3: Describes something to have the power to influence others, hook people up as if they are toxins.
